We are looking for two candidates with interest in applied empirical work and data management for the DFG-funded project “Poverty dynamics and sustainable development: A long-term panel project in Thailand and Vietnam”.
You should have a genuine interest in Development Economics and International Economics and be able to work independently, flexibly and in a self-organized fashion. With a keen eye for details and meticulous working style, you will precisely execute data cleaning and harmonization, questionnaire management and literature review tasks. Note: This role is based in Göttingen, and does not involve field trips.

The Chair of International Economic Policy is a small, diverse research group investigating and teaching all kinds of topics linked to globalization, political economy, development economics and environmental economics. Our common interest lies in applied empirical (experimental and quasi-experimental) approaches, mainly using secondary data (e.g., socioeconomic survey data or geographical data).
