We are looking for a

Service Coordinator

to expand our team.

As a service coordinator, you handle customer inquiries and are the customer's contact person throughout the process. You evaluate incoming customer requests, consult with the customer and our engineering department and offer what is required to find the right solution.

Once the customer has approved your offer both operationally and financially, you are the interface to our service coordination, so our technicians can come on board at the desired time to carry out the work and/or deliver the spare parts. You conduct and log the necessary communications so that your colleague visits the ship at the scheduled time. You are always up to date and the contact person for both the customer and the service technician.

The goal of your position is to coordinate the operational activities as efficiently as possible so that the customer can be served quickly and with high quality. You will achieve this together with a very proactive team of maritime professionals whose daily mission is to assist the customer.

Summary of key responsibilities

• You are the coordinator of incoming customer inquiries and the customer's contact person during the entire process
• You look after the customer order from A to Z
• You consult with the customer on the nature of the request and what is required to find the right solution
• You prepare complete work instructions for the assignments of your colleagues and handle everything in the appropriate systems
• You conduct a debriefing with the service technician(s) after the jobs and inform the customer of the results of the work carried out
• You ensure that all necessary information is processed so that the invoices are sent out correctly and on time
• You proactively approach customers to optimize the order book.

Requirements

We are looking for a colleague who has an affinity for (maritime) electronics and would like to delve into our demanding profession

• At least 3 years of experience in the commercial service sector (preferably in a technical environment)
• You are good at dealing with ad hoc situations and the dynamics of the maritime sector
• You communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders
• You are service oriented and not afraid to take responsibility
• You have a proactive attitude, think in terms of solutions and can work independently
• You are adept at using computer systems
• English spoken and written
