The Lidar department of the Valeo R&D Center in Prague is developing the flagship among our sensors: the Valeo SCALA lidar is the first and still the only mass-produced automotive laser sensor on the market. It can detect obstacles on the road up to a distance of 200 meters and classify them in all weather conditions. It is used by carmakers for their most advanced models such as the Mercedes S-Class, Audi A8 or Honda Legend. Up to 30% of new premium vehicles are to reach level 3 of autonomous driving by 2030, and to do so, they will have to be equipped with lidar technology. We develop hardware, software, optics, mechanical construction, execute system testing and industrialization of this product

Our Team is seeking an Administrative Support Trainee for the back office team who will coordinate  ad hoc task & team activities.

YOUR CHALLENGES?

Office management / office operations

• supply of office supplies

• providing refreshments for the kitchen (milk, tea, coffee)

• arranging and organizing visits (booking accommodation, rooms, catering)

• distribution of incoming mail and parcels

Administration and team support

• organizing business travel for staff (vehicles, flights, hotel bookings, visa support), responsibility for cost

• management and administration of attendance

• managing internal documentation, issuing directives, regulations and other documents

• securing documents for patents

Purchasing / non-project

• management of contracts and other documents, including archiving

• purchase orders

• order execution, solving problems with deliveries, invoices, etc.

• regular reporting

Fleet management

• registration and administrative management of the vehicle fleet (reservation etc.) - reservations & direct contact with EEs

Team well-being

• Co-organization of the events

• EE well-being / refreshment

LET'S TALK ABOUT YOU...

• Czech/Slovak native speaker, english (intermediate level)

• Active student or recent University Graduate 

• Available to work part-time (20 hours/week) or full-time (40 hours/week) 

• Interested in at least 1 year cooperation

• Able to commute to the office 4-5 days a week 

• Detail oriented, proactive, communicative. 

• Experience with Google Workspace is advantage
