Job description

In your new role your tasks will be:

• Driving strategic technical direction of our product portfolio together with customers and internal application marketing teams of e.g. Wind, Solar, Megawatt Charging and CAV
• Aligning business priorities of new products with our internal product marketing team
• Working in close cooperation with Research & Development as the central interface between the marketing and our customer specific product development team to successfully launch new products
• Supporting the verification of innovative product ideas by application-related product tests
• Publication of new products or technology features (e.g. by giving trainings/ creation of papers/ conferences) and Infineon internal know-how share
• Simulation and calculation of the electrical and thermal power module performance under customer related application conditions

Your Profile

With this position you will be entering our „technical ladder”: our career path for experts. You will be able to focus deeply on technology – while further pursuing your career. As you continually expand your expert knowledge, puzzle over matters and solve problems, you will position yourself as a thought leader – thus helping our products improve our world a bit more each day.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree in electronics, physics or comparable
• Strong interest in power electronics and semiconductors with at least 5+ years of relevant professional experience in R&D, technical marketing or similar department
• The ability to act as a product strategist that has a sense for shaping future product roadmaps that meets future business demands
• High communication skills , open mindset and the ability to establish and maintain social networks with internal and external partners
• A fable for the organization and the status tracking of development projects
• General willingness to travel worldwide to support customers, as well as the Sales and Field Application Engineering teams in different regions
• Good communication skills in English . German would be an additional advantage
