We are looking for an additional colleague to join our Technology team as a Technology Area Engineer Electrical and Controls within Global Supply Chain (GSC).
Through world-class supply chain performance, GSC enables the delivery of business needs to meet local demands. GSC has approximately 17,000 employees, working from 54 production sites in 19 countries. The unit supplies hygiene products for our business areas Consumer Tissue meaning Toilet paper, Household towels, Handkerchiefs, Facial tissues, Wet wipes and Napkins), Professional Hygiene (Tork) and Personal Care (Incontinence Products (TENA), Feminine Care (Libresse) and Baby Care (Libero).
In this role you will work with projects within our Papermaking sites as technical expert, being involved in the E2E process from solution design to commissioning.

Participate in technology projects and support the responsible Technology Area Manager
Contribute to feasibility studies and provide input to Capex requests documentation
Document and communicate technical risks and potential business consequences during development
Support TAM to provide input to project recommendation if project is ready to pass stage gate / toll gate from a technology perspective
Contribute to the set-up of Technology Requirement Specification and support the pre-development of future disruptive innovations
Participate and actively contribute to the development of strategic machine platforms, starting with safety and including digital and process control solutions
Collect and evaluate feedback to understand current machine losses and drive development of safety and performance improvements together with machine suppliers and manufacturing organization
The role requires travel up to 50% of your time
We are looking for a curious, collaborative person that has an inner drive and good organizational skills. Your background should be:
Technical background with University Degree in Electrical or related fields
Experience from manufacturing operations, projects and/ or technology from paper making or similar business.
Fluency in English, both verbal and written skills
Ability to travel 50%
