We are currently looking for our future Purchasing Business Analyst (m/f/d) based in Blieskastel or Obernai for a permanent contract.
The Purchasing Business Analyst (m/f/d)is responsible for the definition, implementation and continuous improvement of processes, methods, and tools. This individual achieves `Business Excellence” by implementing global standards, intelligent processes, tools while considering the Hager End-to-End process approach.
In your role, you are a key enabler for the company`s run by providing professional support to your stakeholders within Purchasing department and all over the company. You will be enabled to make decisions & actions while having the possibility to rely on expert peers with whom you will collaborate.
The responsibilities can be clustered in five pillars: digital run, process improvement, project management, customer support and stakeholder management.

Your responsibilities
- You apply and ensure the run of our digital purchasing tools and provide reliability analysis reports on a regular basis, in accordance with existing standards and the expected quality level
- You contribute to the development and implementation short and long-term digital roadmaps and you have got the authority to escalate processes, methods, and tools (project) issues
- You champion a process of continuous improvement through effective tools and organizational change management by carrying out analyses to identify technical weaknesses and proposing improvements and by creating a relevant purchasing tool and process KPI to drive continuous improvement
- You lead and support the development and implementation of the corrective actions for processes weaknesses
- By ensuring data quality, availability & stakeholder support you support the implementation of digital purchasing tools
- You have got the project management and key user training responsibility for Purchasing processes, methods, and tools
- You participate in ad-hoc compliance and governance related topics and supporting cross-functional workstreams
- By working in interface with the purchasing department you ensure our tools provide smooth purchasing experience and you provide professional support to the operational teams regarding digital purchasing tools and providing updates on ongoing activities and initiatives
- You support implementation of cross functional tools and you are the representative in international cross-functional processes, methods and tool projects with active, self-consistent controlling and conduction of tasks and rollout activities (e.g. SAP, Ariba Guided Buying etc.) in alignment with the Global Purchasing Processes, Methods, and Tools standards and strategy
- You have got the ability to influence process owners (e.g. FiCO, and other business functions) and provide guidance for the design and implementation of controls and technologies

Your profile
- You hold a degree in business/ science or technical degree to understand the needs of your internal customers
- With your relevant professional experience in a related field you master project and stakeholder management
- You have got experience with IT / business systems and processes to understand our tools and digital run
- With your strong customer focus and your analytical and interdisciplinary thinking you always act cost oriented
- As a team player you are building strong relationships and show your collaboration skills across all aspects of the organization
- Your knowledge in handling of MS Office, ERP (SAP MM), Ariba Guided Buying would be a plus
- You demonstrate leadership abilities together with team-oriented spirit
- You have got excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- With your strong commitment for process improvement, you have got a high self-motivation and enthusiasm
- You are able to defined milestones and gateways of Processes, Methods and Tool projects
- With your structured and independet way of working you complete the defined tasks in the required quality and in time
- Your fluent English language skills (spoken and written) enable you to collaborate with your international colleagues and any other language French or German depending on the location
