We - MT Aerospace - are part of the OHB Space and Technology Group. As a leading international aerospace company, we develop, manufacture and test essential components for launcher programs such as Ariane, the U.S. Space Launch System (SLS) as well as commercial launcher systems, the Airbus fleet, spacecrafts, satellites and defense applications. Thanks to globally unique manufacturing technologies, we create high-performance products made of metal and fiber composites, such as large load-bearing structures and cryotanks, lightweight structures and fuel as well as pressure tanks that combine maximum performance with minimum weight. We currently employ around 600 people at our headquarter in Augsburg and at the launch site in Kourou (French Guiana).

Your Tasks

• You manufacture development components from fibre composite materials in close cooperation with the engineering department
• You will process components both manually and with machine support
• You will carry out and document preparatory and main processes for component production
• You carry out component measurements with appropriate measuring tools
• You will carry out maintenance and servicing work on machines and equipment

Your Qualifications

• Completed industrial/technical vocational training, e.g. as a process mechanic for rubber and plastics technology, light aircraft builder or similar
• Knowledge in the processing of fibre composite materials using winding techniques
• Experience in fixture construction and heat treatment with vacuum technology
• SAP R/3 knowledge desirable
