Summary
For the "Sales ATC Radar, IFF and DataComms" department, we are looking for a "Head of Sales ATC Radar, IFF & DataComms (f/m/d)" at the Taufkirchen, Immenstaad or Ulm location as soon as possible. The position is responsible for the disciplinary management of a team of sales employees as well as the functional management of campaign teams consisting of Program, Operations, Finance and Commercial. In addition, the "Head of Sales ATC & IFF / Comms" is also responsible for the HENSOLDT-wide coordination of all IFF / Comms sales topics of all business units. The task of the teams is to sell the HENSOLDT ATC, IFF and Datalink portfolio.Your Tasks
Creation of a market and sales strategy to ensure the competitive positioning of the ATC, IFF and Datalink portfolio worldwide
Management and responsibility for all sales tasks from the qualification of an opportunity (Go / No Go), through the development of the opportunity into a campaign and its execution to the conclusion of the contract
Management and coordination of the HENSOLDT-wide IFF / Comms team of HENSOLDT Germany, HENSOLDT France and HENSOLDT South Africa
Establishing close customer relationships with system and platform integrators, industry partners and typical ATM / ATC customers
Development of industry partnerships (also with local industry), technology transfer and offset concepts
Preparation and implementation of (contract) negotiations through to contract conclusion
Contributes to the definition and maintenance of a market-oriented ATC radar, IFF and data link product portfolio
Operational planning (BP), preparation, planning and realization of incoming orders according to the technical and economic objectives of the business unit over a period of three years
Preparation and coordination of operational planning with and between Sales and Business Line
Ensure that product management can align the product strategy and roadmap with current and future market requirements by providing relevant data
Your Profile
Degree in economics, mathematics, physics, engineering or similar
Many years of experience in managing and leading interdisciplinary teams, especially sales teams, in a complex business environment (extensive knowledge of team leadership)
Sales experience in the defense sector
Experience in business relationships with military and civilian end customers
Experience in product / project management
Experience in relationship management for customers in the respective market segments
Ability to work under high time and expectation pressure and deliver results according to time and quality targets
Strong communication skills
Fluent German and English skills and basic to intermediate level of French
