Senior Consultant Data Analytics (f/m/d)

Our dynamic international Data & Analytics team within the Global Information Services department is seeking a Senior Consultant - Data & Analytics to join us. As an expert in Microsoft Azure services and the Power Platform and tools such as Power BI, Power Automate and other data & analytics related Microsoft products, you will be responsible for the governance, development, design, implementation, and maintenance of the Azure environment and the Power Platform. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs, construct data models, and deliver insightful data & analytics products to internal clients and mentor and support users realizing self-service solutions.

What you can expect:

• You will develop the implementation and usage of Microsoft products like Power BI, Power Automate, Azure data flows and other Microsoft services
• You will design, develop, and implement dashboards, visualizations, data and process automation flows
• In your role you will utilize your experience to ensure data quality, calculation accuracy, and performance
• You will analyze data trends, develop key insights, and translate data into actionable recommendations for business operations stakeholders
• Providing expertise with Microsoft solutions and mentor team members will be part of your role
• You take over the ownership for the Microsoft Power Platform and other services for data & analytics
• Gain expertise in Microsoft Fabric and utilize it for our internal customers and the Data & Analytics department

Who we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field with a focus on business information technology
• Understanding and experience of data warehouses and analytics solutions
• Proven experience as senior data & analytics expert with a focus on Microsoft technologies, preferably with 5+ years of experience
• Strong experience designing and developing data & analytics solutions using Microsoft products
• In-depth knowledge of data architecture and design
• Strong experience working with the Microsoft Power Platform
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of turning complex business issues into actionable solutions
• Team-oriented, with a track record of successful collaboration in global, cross-functional environments

• Entrepreneurial mindset, complemented by excellent project management and organizational skills
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
• Experience in the life science industry or manufacturing industries is a plus
