Job description
Are you looking to lead a whole Systems Engineering division for a leading German Automotive Tier 1, as Head of Systems Engineering?
You'll take full ownership over the Systems Engineering and Architecture teams, managing the development of Mechatronics, Electromechanical, and Mechanical products.
Reporting closely to the Directors, you'll have remit to grow the division, whilst benefiting from short decision-making channels and timelines.
Head of Systems Engineering Responsibilities
Oversee and the team of Systems Architects and Systems Engineers to deliver Electro-Mechanical and Mechatronics products (full lifecycle)
Collaborate with other Heads of Departments (Hardware, Software etc.) to identify and suggest missing features or components, to achieve the desired outcomes & functionality.
Design in accordance of ASPICE and ISO 26262 standards
Budget and remit to grow your division and direct reports in 2024
Head of Systems Engineering Requirements
3+ years of leading and directly managing a team of Systems Engineers/Architects
Expert in Mechanical Systems, Mechatronics, or Electro-Mechanics for Automotive
Automotive SPICE, V-Model, Functional Safety (ISO 26262), FMEA & FTA understanding
Fluent German required

Up to €130k - Frankfurt (Hybrid 50%)
2 -stage interview process
