Job description

Foodji’s platform is powered by the AWS Serverless Stack (Fargate, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB), MongoDB, Redshift, Rekognition, CloudFormation, GitHub Actions and Docker. These cutting-edge technologies allows the company to deploy and scale fast and easily without much of the classic dev ops hassle. Everything is monitored by the company’s custom monitoring system, Pingdom, CloudWatch, constantly analyzing KPIs of Foodjis . —Foodji’s cloud backends as well as the machine software operating on the IoT foodjis in the field are running on GoLang. For predicting future sales and inventory, the company utilizes the state-of-the-art machine learning models in Python, for computational vision detections, the company mostly uses AWS Rekognition trained on pictures taken from multiple cameras inside the Foodjis. —
Foodji’s mobile app for iOS and Android, as well as the company’s touchscreen software are using Ionic in combination with Angular and Capacitor to bring the company’s users the best experience in an efficient and modern way. The company uses React with Tailwind for its brand new dashboard, allowing their team to access all relevant data of the Foodji cloud. —Foodji’s  is integrating a variety of third-party services like payment providers, ticketing systems and analytics tools via RESTful apis and shared data warehousing.

Your Responsibilities as a Backend Developer

• Develop state-of-the-art REST APIs with Go, Docker, AWS Lambda and Fargate
• Integrate a variety of external APIs (e.g. Payment, ERP)
• Develop Foodji’s  technology stack further and make the company (even) fitter for the future
• Help the company to improve its internal administrative tools to manage Foodji’s machines, products, orders and customers
• Take immediate ownership in your projects and help shape the future of foodji

— Your Profile

• You have experience in Go and MongoDB, and you have played around with AWS Lambda, Fargate and Docker
• You have a high quality standard
• You are looking for real startup experience and responsibility
• You have Knowledge of Ionic, Cordova and app development
