Job description
Our client, a leading real estate asset manager, is looking to hire a Senior Real Estate Controller with strong consolidation skills to join their growing Finance team in Luxembourg. This is a new position for our client.

Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for the oversight of the finance and accounting activities over a portfolio of Real Estate structures; this will include consolidated financial reporting and tax compliance
- Proactive management of portfolio including review of Fund Accounting/Financial Statement review for Lux entities and their subsidiaries; liquidity management; oversight of capital structure and other internal compliance requirements
- Preparation of consolidated reporting using IFRS – effect intercompany reconciliations and ensure correct reporting regarding subsidiaries. Prepare reporting packs when required
- Ensure compliance against internal policy and procedures as well as regulatory requirements at all times
- Oversight of service providers and third parties such as AIFMs, depositaries, fund administrators, auditors, notaries and lawyers
- Work closely with local and international colleagues
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis when required
Candidate Requirements
- University Degree in Accounting or Finance; Ideally ACCA accredited or equivalent
- Ideally 6-8 years similar proven experience in an Asset Management Company, AIFM, Fiduciary, OR Big 4 background with a Real Estate focus – understanding of unregulated entities as well as Funds
- Fluent in English; written and spoken with another European language considered an advantage
- Strong accounting experience in Real Estate/AIFs, plus IFRS/Consolidation
- Highly collaborative and ability to work cross jurisdictionally and with global team
- Strong analytical and communication skills
