Job description
RSM Financial Services Luxembourg is a CSSF regulated PSF providing fund administration and transfer agency services to mainly private equity and real estate funds. The company is part of a group of 5 legal entities, offering tax, accountancy, AIFM, audit and payroll needs to fund managers, international investors and local businesses. With a team of around 100 employees, RSM in Luxembourg is a strong medium-sized organization with a sound human touch and solid values, member of the RSM network, the world's 6th largest network of audit, tax and consulting firms.
Having experienced strong growth in its third party fund administration activities, RSM Financial Services Luxembourg is looking to strengthen its team responsible for managing client and investor relationships and overseeing the overall service provision for our growing clientele. The team interacts with all parties involved both internally and externally.
RSM Financial Services Luxembourg is currently looking for a dynamic person with the following profile:
Alternatives Fund Administration – Client Relations (m/f)
You will act as a contact person and coordinator between clients, investors and related third parties for handling their requests. You will also take care of the day-to-day operations of Alternative Investment Funds (mainly Private Equity and Real Estate funds), and following up with all parties involved. Therefore, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills as well as a sound understanding of the technical workings of alternative funds are required. You must also demonstrate initiative, be able to interact constructively with all parties and have a strong technical knowledge of the industry.
Graduated from university or business school, with a first experience of at least 3 years preferably in a similar environment, you will have the opportunity to thrive in a friendly young and growing team.
Your main tasks will be:
Take care of day-to-day requests from clients, investors, and third parties;
Manage and control closings, capital calls, distributions, subscriptions, redemptions, and transfers of shares;
Calculate waterfall distributions and investor equalizations;
Create and maintain shareholder registers, as well as generate investor reports;
Draft board minutes, provide assistance in board/investment committee meetings, and facilitate shareholders’ meetings;
Review legal documentation during fund launches/liquidations, adhering to the Limited Partnership Agreement (LPA), Private Placement Memorandum (PPM), and other relevant documents;
Assist in coordinating year-end audits;
Assist the accounting team with specific queries;
Follow up on transactions;
Play a crucial role in our ongoing efforts to automate processes;
Collaborate with the compliance team to conduct AML/CFT due diligence on investors and transacting monitoring
Your profile:
Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance or equivalent;
Experience of minimum 3 years in a similar position
Auditor profile or similar is welcome;
Very good communication skills;
Excellent command of English and French is mandatory, German or Luxembourg is considered as an advantage;
Good knowledge of the Luxembourg fund industry (with a focus on Private Equity and Real Estate
Knowledge of relevant AML/CFT requirements;
Sound knowledge of Word, Excel and TA software(s);
Analytical mind with strong sense of providing high quality output.
