(salary level E 13 TV-L, 100 %)

Your tasks
- Management of interdisciplinary and international consortia and training programmes
- Identification, organisation and management of (potentially large) funding activities such as European projects and Erasmus Mundus programmes
- Teaching support at our Institute, especially in interdisciplinary programmes such as Erasmus Mundus and graduate teaching programmes.
Our expectations
- A completed PhD in geoinformatics, spatial data science, computer science, or a similar scientific field of study is required.
- An excellent command of written and spoken English is required.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching and student supervision is required.
- Experience in writing proposals for external funding (e.g. DFG or EU) would be advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience in academic self-organisation would be welcomed.
- Motivation to collaborate with the Institute’s leaders, willingness to learn about and explore new research directions, help develop innovative research programmes or new teaching programmes, and manage the development of collaborative proposals with the Institute’s leaders and external collaborators.
- Excellent soft skills such as the ability to work in a team, management skills, communication skills, (self-)organisational skills and the ability to work independently are required.
