Your tasks
You develop deep learning models for the perception of autonomous vehicles in highway construction sites
You deal with state-of-the-art AI research in the field of computer vision
You generate artificial datasets with simulation tools such as Carla
Project management, exchange and coordination with partners within the EU
Writing scientific publications and participating in national and international conferences
Collaboration in the preparation of funding applications
Supervision of theses and support of the professorship's research and teaching activities
Your profile
You have completed your master's degree in artificial intelligence, computer science or a related field with outstanding results
You already have demonstrable practical experience in the application of machine learning and computer vision, ideally with deep learning
You have sound programming skills, preferably in Python and you know the common frameworks and can also work with them (PyTorch, Tensorflow, OpenCV)
You have experience in working with autonomous driving simulators like Carla
You speak and write English at a very high level
To fit seamlessly into a team of young highly motivated scientists you need strong communication and teamwork skills, a high level of personal responsibility and good organizational skills
