Job description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Lead Infotainment who will work for our client, a luxury British car manufacturer known for producing high-performance sports cars. The successful candidate will lead the Infotainment head unit development directly at the premises of the head unit supplier to hit critical functionality, timing, cost, and quality targets.
The Project Lead Infotainment will:
Ensure that the systems meet the attribute targets creating & managing recovery plans as required.
Make improvements on the head unit supplier development process, organization, and resources.
Work with a cross functional team to ensure that all stakeholders deliver the support required to deliver your systems on time and to budget.
Create an understanding how the head unit supplier is structured and runs software development, including understanding hard- & software processes as well as resources of the head unit supplier and results of the above.
The Project Lead Infotainment will have:
Electrical Engineering degree.
Extensive knowledge of automotive life cycle development.
Proven record of delivering complex infotainment projects.
Extensive knowledge of the manufacturing processes to create the components or systems.
Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels.
Strong written communication skills for report writing & concerns raising. Able to verbally communicate at all levels.
