Our client is an international group looking for a Senior Internal Accountant who can handle various financial tasks such as analysis and budgeting. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational and problem-solving skills and be able to communicate financial information and models clearly and effectively.
Your mission
You will report to the Senior Manager and be based in Luxembourg on a full-time permanent basis.
As a Senior Corporate Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Administering, reviewing, and preparing financial statements for different internal companies, with the support of an offshore accounting team;
- Assisting or performing monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings;
- Preparing and reviewing the interim accounts as needed;
- Assisting the monthly Group reporting;
- Supporting the auditors during the audit of financial statements;
- Analyzing monthly financial performance, especially of costs;
- Ensuring accuracy of G/L postings and reconciliations;
- Calculating and posting tax provisions and drafting VAT and Tax returns;
- Managing cash and assisting in cash-flow forecast;
- Ensuring accuracy in data used by and in reports generated by the Finance department;
- Providing ad-hoc reports as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance;
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (in particular Excel);
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is an asset;
- Fluent in English, French being an asset.
