Your Role
You have experience with Linux and want to learn more about its inner workings? We are seeking passionate and talented students who want to make an impact by helping to shape next-generation products at ZEISS. Integrated in a team of scientists and research engineers, you will work for at least 6 months for 10-20 hours a week by helping us with Linux tasks in various projects. Your work could involve things like writing shell scripts, setting up new hardware with drivers, working with gstreamer to create video pipelines, and maybe even simple kernel tuning & building custom system images. The primary focus is learning how things work and how one could use them. What We Offer

Your Profile
You are enrolled in computer science, physics, engineering or similar
You are willing to learn and explore with a high degree of initiative and creativity
You are interested in new technology and motivated to work on challenging tasks
You have used Linux before in some way and know some basic shell commands
Optional: Some coding experience (including Git)
Optional: First experience with embedded systems (e. g. Raspberry Pi, Jetson Nano)
