What you bring with you
- Completed studies with a focus on computer science, business informatics or comparable knowledge acquired in practice
- Ideally several years of professional and management experience in the IT sector of a manufacturing company
- Sound knowledge of the SAP and Microsoft environment
- Very good organizational skills and extensive experience in project management
- Sense for business contexts
- Hands-on mentality combined with strong communication skills and a confident demeanor at all levels of the company
- Business fluent foreign language skills in English
These are your tasks
- Disciplinary and strategic management of the IT department with 13 employees in two teams and direct reporting line to the management
- Planning, support and further development of our IT landscape and all associated topics such as communication, infrastructure, processes, hardware and software procurement
- Ensuring high standards of availability, performance and data security of IT systems in compliance with legal requirements and data protection regulations
- Planning and managing specialist and interdisciplinary IT projects
- Responsible for requirements and budget planning for the entire IT department
- Evaluation of new technologies and market developments
