Ready for a new challenge in our Security Operations Center (SOC)? The operation of security events including the derivation of the necessary reactions - coupled with the topic of business customers - are these exactly your topics? We should get to know each other! Your task:
- Your main tasks include operating the SOC processes for processing security events, including deriving the necessary reactions
- You analyze events in the SOC tools and proactively identify threats and attacks
- You are responsible for the further development of SOC tools around log correlation, SIEM, NDR, endpoint security and vulnerability management
- You are responsible for connecting new event sources to the SOC tools yourself
- You develop and optimize use cases and rules to identify potential attacks (threat detection)
- In addition, you will actively participate in the optimization of SOC processes and automation via programming interfaces
- You are willing to participate in the 24x7 on-call service
Your profile:
- You have completed vocational training with initial professional experience in the area of network security and/or telecommunications or a completed (technical) university degree
- You have strong analytical skills and ideally experience in the area of security event analysis
- You are characterized by very good knowledge of IT security in the areas of networks and applications as well as a high level of security awareness
- Knowledge of common programming languages (e.g. Python) to automate processes
- You have solid knowledge in the areas of endpoint or network security as well as knowledge of security infrastructures such as IDS/IPS, SIEM, firewalls, DDoS defense, virus scanners, cloud security, encryption
- We require a sound knowledge of spoken and written English
- An independent working style, reliability and a very high level of willingness to learn round off your profile
