Mechanical / Hydraulic Design Engineer - Aerospace
Key responsibilities
- concept, plan and design of test system for international aviation customers
- selection, design and construct of mechanical and hydraulic assemblies and individual
parts - design of UUT adaptions and machine elements
- design implementation of the fluid technological part of the products
- simensioning and design of drive trains for a wide variety of speed and torque ranges.
- develop hydraulic schematics
- create documentation for commissioning and maintenance instructions
- assist with hydraulic commissioning of products
- coordinate requirements internally and with external suppliers
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering required
- 5+ years of relevant engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- MBA degree in technical field or applied technology is a plus
- technical knowledge and expertise in mechanical/fluid systems
- CAD proficiency in both 2D and 3D environments
- basic project/process management skills
- knowledge of controls technology and BOM management is a plus
- proficient in reading hydraulic/electrical schematics
- computer and MS Office skills
- willingness to international collaboration
