Data Scientist am Innovation Park Artificial Intelligence Heilbronn (m/w/d)

What awaits you:

We, Strategic Sales Management, align all sales areas with data support and the appropriate tools to our corporate goals in order to support the further development of the sales model. We are already driving forward the implementation of data-supported sales and are in the middle of the transformation towards an omni-channel sales system. In order to become a pioneer in these topics, we are participating in the innovation park “IPAI – Innovation Park Artificial Intelligence” that is currently being built in Heilbronn. IPAI will be a unique ecosystem consisting of companies, educational institutions, research institutions and start-ups. And YOU are in the middle of it all, helping to shape “AI products made in Baden-Württemberg”.

The following tasks await you:

• Initiation and independent project management of research and development projects in the field of artificial intelligence, machine learning and data-supported sales
• Development and implementation of defined use cases in the data science environment from the Würth Group
• Exchange with various start-ups, research experts and other actors at IPAI
• Feedback & knowledge transfer to the data science areas of the Würth Group and the various departments
• Ensuring the integration of the newly developed data science solutions into our existing system infrastructure
• Creation of business plans including measurement of the success of various data science services

This is what we expect:

• Successfully completed studies in the field of data science or in the field of IT with a focus on data science
• Several years of professional experience in the area of ​​data science/machine learning
• Knowledge and use of common programming languages ​​such as Python or R, especially common packages such as matplotlib, pandas, sklearn, or numpy, preferably experience in using Git
• A networker who integrates into teams and enjoys making contacts
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Fluent knowledge of German is required
• Curiosity for new things and the motivation to analyze and solve complex problems
• Independent, careful and structured way of working
• Self-organization and adaptability for optimal project management
• Analytical-strategic skills and a strong ability to understand business processes
