Zalando’s Enterprise Applications and Architecture department works with state-of-the-art technologies to deliver innovative solutions to all parts of our platform. As a part of ERP Engineering, you will work with the newest ERP products. We have close partnerships with SAP innovation centers, AWS , and renowned implementation partners. Our ERP System (S/4HANA) runs on a HANA database and we deliver frequent roll-outs of new ERP technology and business processes. Be a part of an agile, experienced frontend and backend ERP engineering team to perform complex programming, testing, and debugging for the ongoing development of our ERP landscape
Design, build, and maintain large-scale backend ERP microservices using technologies such as BTP, ABAP, CAP, RAP, CDS Views, Python , Java , Apache Flink, Nakadi, and Kubernetes
Ensure a state-of-the-art software development methodology
Share your knowledge with your colleagues helping them grow their technical skills
Interact with various teams and stakeholders with different backgrounds and a large spectrum of competencies
At least 5 years of current and relevant work experience developing complex ERP microservices
You know and understand how to design, develop, and operate large scale distributed systems , microservices on cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS with Kubernetes )
You have experience with streaming processing systems (e.g. Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis)
You have knowledge in SAP S/4HANA ERP as a huge plus
You are and advocate for agile processes, operational excellence, and coding best practices such as clean code, readability, and test-driven development
You have practical work approach and flexibility with changing requirements
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
