Job description
As a Finance Manager / Controller, you will become a part of Stillfront’s European Finance Hub and work closely with our European studios. Your responsibilities will include business reporting, forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis as well as ad hoc finance projects focused on efficiency improvements, product profitability- and ROI. We are looking for doers who like to learn and get involved in new topics as well as being able to work closely with senior executives and departments across the world. You will also take an active role in devising and designing methods of optimizing and developing the controlling department.
You can start at regular or senior level, depending on your experience in controlling.
YOUR MISSION
Carry out financial and budget/plan variance analyses based on accounting results and our operative data warehouse
Create and comment regular reports on financial performance and the most important game KPIs for the management team
Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
Develop and standardize existing controlling processes
Ad hoc analyses and projects focused on product profitability, scenario analysis and business planning
Monitor and analyze cost structures, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
YOUR BACKSTORY
Completed business studies degree (also business information systems, business engineering, etc.)
Work experience of up to three years in controlling (ideally in a company in the IT, e-commerce, or media industry management), banking/finance, management consulting, auditing in a "Big 4" firm or in a similar field
Proficient in financial analysis using advanced Excel skills, knowledge of SQL is advantageous
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide meaningful insights
You are a doer, take initiatives, like challenges and constantly try to develop yourself further
Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present financial information to non-financial stakeholders
Resilience, team spirit, and a strong sense of responsibility
Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written
