Job Description
We are looking for you, a Technical Regulations Analyst (TRA) (m/f/diverse), to support our business area Original Equipment Solutions (OESL) at the location Hann. Münden.
The Technical Regulations Analyst (TRA) is responsible for the assessment, interpretation of relevant Legal Technical Requirements for our automotive product portfolio in alignment with all related areas. Your tasks will focus on the following activities:
*Evaluating the potential relevance of external standards and legal technical regulations for the products and technology in the area of responsibility
*Deriving product/material specific requirements from the standards and regulations
*Developing common interpretation together with relevant technical experts
*Providing enriched data including interpretation, (if existing) to projects & product responsible
*Responsible for the implementation and execution of the OESL Requirement Engineering Process and Tools
*Coordinate evaluation process and ensure evaluation of customer specific requirements
*Supporting development and implementation of programs to ensure product compliance with existing and developing global restricted substance regulations, e.g. European Union ROHS, European Union REACH, European Union WEEE, US Conflict Minerals, California Prop 65, chemical management systems such as US TSCA and respond to customer requests
Qualifications
*Academic Degree in Science or Engineering or adequate experience in Chemistry and Mechanics
*Long-term working experience in the area of R&D or Quality in the area of Mobility and/ or Material
*Acknowledged expertise in the analysis of technical regulations dealing with product safety/ product conformity/ product environmental compliance or related field
*Advanced knowledge of legal technical regulations and national and international standards
*Business fluent English language skills (written and spoken), good and global legal understanding
*German language skills desirable
*Analytical and structured workstyle, model compliance with administration rules
