The Merchant Assistant will support the development and management of a supplier base to fulfill transactions delivering commodities that meet production requirements and specifications in terms of timing, volume, quantity and cost. In this role, you will support teams that buy and sell commodities from and to country elevators, producers, feed mills and processors. Key

Accountabilities
Maintain, review and analyze operational contracts for goods and services assigned, including contract items, pricing, terms and conditions and ensure accurate data management in SAP Support commercial team in accurate position management and reporting Partner with relevant stakeholders across teams to provide assistance, align on contract execution Work directly with customers, suppliers and business counterparts to meet their needs in solving most routine problems. Collect and organize complex administrative reports on contract analysis for the defined area Manage digitalization projects and process roll-outs for the commercial team Provide assistance to other assigned business-related projects Handle complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent, minimum of four years of related work experience in Supply Chain is a big plus, fluency in English (fluency in German is a big advantage)
