Job description

The Lewitz Stud in Germany is currently seeking for a skilled Barehoof trimmer/ blacksmith to join our team. We will need you for our foals, yearlings, young mares and stallions.

Firstly, we are looking for a blacksmith who specializes in trimming horses. In this role, you will be responsible for our young horses. This entails working closely with our clinic team to ensure the horses' hooves are in optimal condition. We value extensive experience in trimming hooves of foals and young horses. We are open to consider motivated individuals who may still be developing their expertise in this area.

Additionally, we have a position available for an experienced blacksmith. This role presents an opportunity to gain valuable experience and tackle challenging cases involving hoof care for young horses.

Alternatively, we are open to the possibility of combining both roles, where a blacksmith would be responsible for both foals and shoeing horses if needed.

At the Lewitz Stud, you will have the chance to work in a dynamic and supportive atmosphere. We offer regulated working hours and competitive compensation to ensure a positive work-life balance. This is an excellent opportunity for professional development and growth in the largest breeding farm in Germany.

Join our team and embark on a rewarding journey with us, contributing to the well-being and success of our exceptional horses.
