Build the vertical structure and team for chemicals with its subcategories Agri Science and Special and Consumer Chemicals centrally and across all business units in the Rhenus group.
Develop a deep industry expertise and subject matter experts to unlock the potential of existing customers in the group as well as identify and winning new ones together with the business units.
Lead strategic customer dialogues with global decision makers to identify customer's business objectives, supply chain requirements & challenges.
Create future opportunities by translating customer needs & business trends into potential solutions and identify new growth opportunities based on market knowledge, personal network and technology trends.
Functionally manage a group of Global Group Key Account Managers and orchestrate BU & country teams to improve retention and increase sales.
Enhance the overall vertical capabilities (e.g.) and partner management in order to widen the service portfolio and value-added service.
What you bring
You have successfully completed your Bachelor's or Master's degree and more than 5 years of international and leadership experience.
Demonstrable broad and deep expertise in the chemical industry and global clients, esp. Europe but also internationally.
Familiar with standard procedures and operational processes (e.g. hazardous goods) and customer demands for health, safety, security & environment.
Excellent global client network in the respective industry/sector and experience in participating and leading competitive RFP/RFQ scenarios.
Consultative and proactive mindset and appearance.
Strong communication skills including experience in presentation for and management of senior stakeholders as well as fluency in written and spoken English and German.
