Tasks

For our TOPCON Europe Positioning BU – Netherlands we are looking for a

LOGISTIC SUPPORT SPECIALIST based in Zoetermeer – TOPCON Netherlands office

The Logistic Support Specialist will have these responsibilities:

Software install & ​Technical support (70%)

• To order/ gather the necessary hardware and software liaise with the inbound and outbound teams with regards to availability and due date management.
• Update software & firmware on our sophisticated positioning products according to procedures and processes in place.
• Process them in our ERP system and Salesforce.
• Perform a wide range of actions related to calibration, evaluation and customization of our products (via several software tools) to suit the needs of our end customers.
• Finally test the set-up when applicable to ensure a flawless customer experience upon arrival of their goods/ solutions they ordered.

Configure all relative items to meet customer expectations

• Uploading firmware
• Installing software
• Set up connections
• Calibrate items
• Set language
• Safeguard immediate usability of our products
• Test and inspect the related items

Modification of all related items

• Add or remove components from a kit (set of items)
• Exchange items within a kit

Reporting of the above activities

• Generate reports on the above mentioned activities
• Number of processed items
• Software installations/ purchases

Improvement & innovation

• Identify improvement areas and discuss these with the Associate Manager Logistics

Inbound, outbound and inventory management (30%)

Support in cycle counts, inventory management, value added logistics activities, outbound & inbound processes.

• Involve & execute cycle counts
• When needed/ applicable participate in the in- and outbound processes
• When needed/ applicable support the value added logistics processes

Requirements

Education and skills

• Technical Diploma – MBO level – in Electronics or equivalent field
• At least 3 years of working experience in Technical Service or support role
• Computer skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Microsoft Office 365 (excel, word, outlook) and TEAMS
• Forklift and Reach truck certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• VOG certificate required
• High attention to detail
• Computer skills and working with ERP Systems
• Stress resilience
• Collaboration and cross department cooperation
• Good communication level in English (verbal & written ) – required
• Desire good understand of Dutch language
