JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a working student to support our Energy Team with a focus on the Electrical Wiring and Interconnection System (EWIS). The EWIS accounts for the uninterrupted provision of energy and data between the systems within our eVTOL. As a working student within the EWIS team, you will work on specific design and integration topics for this flight-essential system. With your hands-on mentality and responsible working habit you contribute to the development and ultimately to the success of our product.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with the EWIS team to support the harness design and its analysis.
- Perform integration and installation of harnesses and harness support components into the aircraft as part of the EWIS team.
Be part of the qualification and ground test activities.
Assist in managing EWIS materials and tools.
Support the EWIS team in their alignment with other systems and teams within ERC.
YOUR PROFILE
you should …
- Be enrolled as a student (m/f/d) in Master Course for Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
- Understand aircraft electrical system and components.
Have basic knowledge and experience in electrical design.
Have experience with CAD-Design Software (preferred: Siemens NX).
Have basic knowledge in MS Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Powerpoint).
Have good English skills.
Moreover, we appreciate if you …
- Have hands-on experience in UAVs or RC aircraft.
- Have basic knowledge and experience in harness design.
