What you bring with you
- Academic background: You have a very good degree in business informatics, business mathematics, business administration, economics or a related field.
- Professional experience: Initial experience in the field of data analytics and business intelligence, ideally through working student activities/internships, round off your profile
- Technical knowledge: You have a sound understanding of database architectures, analysis tools and programming. Experience in data analysis/visualization with tools such as Tableau or Power BI is mandatory
- Programming skills: You are adept at working with relational databases (especially SQL) and have good programming skills in Python (JavaScript is a plus). Experience in web scraping and knowledge of clean code are desirable.
- Analytical mindset: You are passionate about creating value through data analysis and identifying patterns and drivers for increased customer value. Entrepreneurial thinking and a hands-on mentality characterize you.
- Independence: You are characterized by a high level of initiative and the ability to independently familiarize yourself with complex data models, products and processes. You are able to scrutinize these and suggest improvements.
- Language skills: Business fluent German (at least C2 level) and fluent English round off your profile.
Your tasks will include
- Market and competitive analysis: You will analyze market and competitive data as well as the business KPIs of our insurance divisions and derive valuable insights from them.
- Data integration and preparation: You develop innovative solutions to automatically collect data from various sources, prepare it and make it usable.
- Dashboard development: You support the creation and further development of dashboards that visualize the performance measurement of our insurance comparisons.
- Strategy development: Through proactive suggestions, you promote the strategy of data-based decision-making in close cooperation with the management in the InsurTech area.
- Data Pipeline Management: You create and maintain stable, efficient data pipelines for smooth data processing.
- Data analysis: You carry out complex data analyses and develop well-founded recommendations for action for specific issues in the insurance sector.
