Job description
Hays Luxembourg is looking for a Linux System Administrator for a client specialised in space. This talented Linux System Administator will work on the following activities : production, archiving and dissemination of Earth Observation Data. It is a 3-month contract that may be followed by an internalisation. It can start as soon as possible.There is no remote working. Your responsibilites will be Installation, management, and maintenance of virtual and physical servers, workstations, and IT equipment in general; Installation, management, and maintenance of services in Linux and Windows environment; User management. Here are the must haves Degree in Computer Science or similar; 5+ years of proven experience in a similar position; Proven expertise in Linux environment ; Proven expertise in Linux administration ; Good command of infrastructure and networking Virtualization, VMware based; Good command of Active Directory; Good command of networking (Cisco and Dell); Good command of infrastructure backup tools (e.g. VEEAM); Good command of monitoring tools (Nagios, Observium, SolarWinds); Command of Firewalling (CheckPoint preferred); Command of automation tool (i.e. Ansible); Command of Cloud Infrastructure; Command of principles of security; Experience of administration of Kubernetes cluster Good English skills (both spoken and written); Teamwork; French knowledge is an asset Valid work permit for EU Hays plc est l'un des principaux groupes mondiaux de recrutement de professionnels.
