Job description
You'll be instrumental in developing and maintaining the firmware of our next generation BLE smart devices (including routers and beacons) based on the newest hardware architectures. You'll leverage your expertise in C programming and communication protocols (like BLE) to design, implement, and test the specified functionality. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient and reliable Bluetooth firmware using C programming language.
- Implement industry-standard Bluetooth protocols (e.g., BLE) for communication and data exchange.
- Integrate Bluetooth functionality with other hardware and software components.
- Develop and implement unit and integration tests to ensure the functionality and performance of Bluetooth features.
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of Bluetooth firmware with the overall system.
- Analyse and debug Bluetooth-related issues reported during testing or in the field.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience developing Bluetooth firmware for embedded systems.
- Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture and programming principles.
- Expertise with Bluetooth protocols (e.g., Classic Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)).
- Proficiency in C programming language and experience with embedded development tools and debuggers.
- Experience with Bluetooth development tools (e.g., Bluetooth Low Energy stack, protocol analysers).
- Excellent problem-solving with strong communication & analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
