We are looking to immediately fill an open position for our HPP EMEA department at our branch in AIS Division, HPP EMEA, Troisdorf, Germany for an
Architect or Building Engineer as Architectural Consultant Middle East & other Areas (m/f/d)
PREFERRED WORK LOCATION
Your responsibilities
- Establish and own the plans and strategies aimed at serving and expanding the customer base in the architectural business
- Capture new architectural specifications of Kuraray Interlayers Solutions innovative and specialty products such as Trosifol & SentryGlas interlayers in construction projects
- Identify opportunities for Kuraray Interlayers in the Architectural facade business via project portals, tender notices, trade shows, architecture calls, etc.
- Develop and track a pipeline of relative projects and long term opportunities in an CRM tool
- Work closely with Kuraray’s Design Engineering team, sales and technical teams ensuring the success of specified projects.
- Develop relationships and networks with Middle East Architects, Designers, Engineers and Consultants through regular visits to educate them about Kuraray Interlayers offering by providing “Lunch and Learns” or Continuous Personnel Development courses (=CPD sessions), pre-approved by RIBA or other organizations
- Take lead in organizing industry functions, such as association events, seminars and conferences, and provide feedback on market and creative trends and represent our solutions in code works with presentations
- Collect information about competitors’ activities, analyze and present to the Senior Management
your qualifications
- Degree in Architecture or in any Engineering discipline. Civil Engineering preferred, or comparable education or in-depth knowledge of the required business area
- Strong related business development experience. Preferably in Architecture, specifications with leading architectural firm
- Very good knowledge of the Glass Industry, thorough knowledge of UK’s Building Construction Industry
- Good understanding of the tendering processes for all kind of building projects
- Strong aptitude for relationship development and management
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Fluency in English (both verbal and in writing) mandatory. Good working knowledge in the German language preferred. Additional language/s beneficial
- Team player and entrepreneurial approach to all business development initiatives
- Enjoy challenges and responsibility
- Willingness for Business Travel: about 50% (Middle East and/or within Europe)
