Your Role
As a Senior Industrial Designer, you will be the main driver of innovative and disruptive new consumer products at Razor group. You will specialize across different categories and markets/regions to identify and develop differentiated products that consumers love. By constantly improving Razor Group’s product quality, customer experience, and design, you will have a sustainable and long-lasting impact.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Product Development & Management from first concept sketch to market maturity
- analyzing our product portfolio and create outstanding designs that shape the corporate identity of our brand and provide superior value to consumers
- working closely with our Brand Managers and Category Strategists to continuously iterate on criteria that influence the success of product launches
- leading fast-paced projects in agile teams from start to finish, i.e.you design consumer products while working with suppliers, manufacturing, and engineering teams and always staying focused on functionality and user experience
- scouting for the next design trends and evaluate how they could affect our existing portfolio
Your Profile
To succeed in this role you:
- completed a master’s degree in product design, industrial design, or mechanical engineering
- have 5+ years of relevant work experience in professional industrial design of physical consumer products (ideally in Home, Kitchen, Gardening, Sports, Pet Supplies, and/or similar fields)
- have demonstrated experience in project management and/or developing products to market maturity
- have proficiency in communicating with foreign manufacturers
- have strong knowledge of various production processes and materials
- have good knowledge in parametric modeling software (e.g. Solidworks, ProE, Fusion360...) & Rendering-Software Keyshot
- can showcase your past work and depth of thinking in a PDF or website format - please share this with your application
- thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment and love a proactive, hands-on approach, while handling multiple projects simultaneously
- are business fluent in English (written, listening, and oral communication)
