In Zurich, our 380+ employees develop, produce and sell high-performance laser diodes for discerning customers in industry, optical communications, life sciences and end-user markets. Your practical mind, hands-on attitude and attention to detail makes of you the ideal candidate.

 

Your responsibility

• Preventive maintenance and repair of machines (mechanical and electrical systems like microscope light bulbs, sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.)
• Assist in the setup of new machines
• Maintain workspaces
• Contact with machines suppliers
• Continuous improvement of the production (quality and throughput) by monitoring, controlling, optimizing

Your profile

• Proven experience as maintenance technician
• Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical systems
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and cleanroom devices
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
• Good physical condition and strength
• Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is a plus
• Lean Six Sigma White Belt is a plus
