Job description The IT Application Support Engineer is responsible for first/second level support of the IT applications, monitoring, reporting, troubleshooting, and ensuring proper follow up on known issues. He/She is knowledgeable of all computer systems and applications in the organisation. He/She shall diagnose, troubleshoot, and escalate issues to the proper L3 Team in order to ensure business continuity. The IT Application Support Engineer reports functionally to the IT System Engineer Team Leader, under IT Manager's responsibility. Your tasks Providing second level support Providing solutions for ongoing IT issues; Provide technical feedback and write incident reports. Maintain and support business applications following existing procedures; Follow up and coordinate incident resolution with different suppliers and internal IT Teams; Participating in Disaster Recovery Tests; Participate in the On-Call rotation. Document and Update system recovery procedures. Your profile Degree Education Level in IT (2 years after A-level); Information Technology degree; Fluent in English with excellent written and spoken skills, any other language will be being an advantage. 2-5 years of experience in a similar position; Experience with Linux server; Experience with Databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/MSSQL) Experience with Application support troubleshooting/analysing/providing solution.
