At Semikron Danfoss we are currently looking for several Process Engineers (m/f/d) in Flensburg for our innovative process of housing (molding) .

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the support and continuous improvement of encapsulation in our series production. You will work both independently and in a team of experts that is constantly growing.

You will also take on the following tasks, among others:

• Take care of encapsulation in our series production of power modules
• Take care of separation (trimming) and forming of pin connections
• For new equipment you conduct the validation, acceptance and commissioning
• Development of suitable methods for process data acquisition and monitoring
• Analysis of test processes and errors as well as conduction of projects for continuous improvement
• Preparation of specifications, work instructions and trainings for employees
• Integration of new manufacturing processes and technologies into production and introduction of new products into existing production lines

You have successfully completed a Master's or Bachelor's degree in material science, mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, physics or an equivalent technical field and have ideally already gained initial work experience in series production.

 

In addition, we would like to see:

• Initial contact with encapsulation of electronic components in a series production are an advantage, but not a requirement
• Knowledge of methods for process improvement and problem solving (for example Six Sigma, Lean or Kaizen – are an advantage, but not mandatory)
• Basics of quality management
• A motivated and systematic approach to work
• A high degree of teamwork, proactivity and hands-on-mentality
• Very good English and good written and spoken German skills
