We are currently looking for a 3D Modeler Trainee for the DSW department in Valeo.
DSW is working on the development of new user and safety functions. They are also able to combine inputs from several sensors, so-called “sensor fusion”. Each sensor technology has its advantages and limits. With increasing car autonomy it is therefore necessary to fuse several types of sensors to achieve robustness and redundancy.
Thanks to the sensor fusion the car always has a reliable data map of its surroundings.
3D model creation (for ADAS development - typically cars, traffic participants, roads, cities, …)
3D mesh optimisation
Production visual LODs
UV unwrapping
Preparation of materials/textures for PBR rendering
Export of models from designer to production tool. Model parameterization and validation in the production tool
Knowledge of Blender / 3ds Max (or similar tool)
