As a PreMaster in the Manufacturing technology department:

• You will work on actual projects and topics to gain a first-hand insight on operations in a semiconductor fabless company
• You will have the opportunity to independently work on topics, with consultation and guidance from our diverse team of experts
• You will ensure that our suppliers meet our technical, quality, cost and delivery requirements at all stages of the product life cycle
• You will evaluate manufacturing concepts in early development phase with special focus on design for manufacturability and suitability for high volume manufacturing
• You coordinate cross-functional teams in an international environment and act as an interface between our external suppliers and internal functions
• You communicate requirements and results effectively across all hierarchies internally, with external suppliers and customers

Qualifications

• You are self-driven and have a structured approach while executing tasks. You have a creative mindset and generate solutions by thinking out of the box. You are always eager to explore new ideas and sell them effectively.
• Personality: Communicative, assertive, creative, enthusiasm for new topics, willingness to travel.
• Working style: Structured and analytical independent work style, high sense of responsibility, enjoys intercultural project work.
• Experience and Know-How: Strong in engineering fundamentals, analytical thinking. Previous experience (internship, HiWi etc.,) in semiconductor/MEMS advantageous.
• Languages: Very good command of written and spoken English.
• Education: Bachelors in engineering, e.g., materials science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, manufacturing engineering or comparable field of study.

Additional Information

The Bosch PreMaster Program is a two-stage qualification program for committed graduates with Bachelor's degrees who want to complete a Master's degree . After the Bachelor's degree, the first phase offers up to 12 months of practical experience as part of a gap year to learn about technical and business contexts. The second phase comprises the Master's course and includes further practical experience in the context of student employment as well as personal mentoring on the road to successful completion.
