People and Culture Manager

Based in Aachen, Germany
Annual salary: Up to €55,000
iO associates are partnering with a specialised materials company who are looking for a People and Culture Manager to join their site in Aachen.
The client is at the forefront of the R&D and production of innovative coating technology and provides their customers with specially produced materials that can be used in a diverse range of applications.
This pivotal role will focus on defining and improving the client's organisational culture, driving their people strategy, and ensuring the workforce is engaged, diverse, and well-supported.
Requirements:
Passion for people management and building a thriving workplace culture
Experience in HR practices, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee engagement.
More junior profiles may be considered for this role
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively across various departments
Fluency in English
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute an innovative people and culture strategy.
Design and lead initiatives to improve employee engagement, satisfaction, retention, diversity, and inclusion.
Oversee the full cycle of recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
Manage employee development, career progression, and oversee compensation and benefits
Ensure compliance with relevant HR laws, regulations, and policies
Provide strategic advice to senior management on people and culture trends and issues
Collaborate effectively with other departments including marketing, finance, and operations.
