Job description
The Euronet Tax Team consists of several professionals spread all around the world, working proactively, and responding to the business where and when its needed.
Are you an indirect tax professional with strong analytical skills and attention to details, strong organizational and interpersonal skills who is able to work collaboratively across functional teams? Then we are looking for you!
You will report to the Indirect Tax Director and be responsible for a variety of indirect tax services within the Euronet group with a focus on on-going support regarding indirect tax matters for one of our business lines – epay.
Do, what you love
- As a Tax Manager (m/f/d) you will work and assist in all types of indirect tax advisory matters with a focus on European VAT matters related to vouchers, electronically supplied services and similar transactions for epay.
- You will work closely with the wider business to validate new initiatives, business cases and products/services in terms of indirect tax impact assessment.
- You will support the business analytics team in the development and implementation of model calculations that show the impact of new business opportunities on indirect taxes.
- You will assist in indirect tax audits, identifying cash flow and indirect tax savings and efficiency potential.
- You regularly update key stakeholders on tax-related matters as well as potential impact of new/changed laws and regulations on epay's or Euronet Group's compliance and business units.
Requirements
Show us, what you’ve got
- Education & Experience : You have a successfully completed university degree in economics, law or finance with a focus on tax law as well as a successfully completed tax advisor exam and ideally already have 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in the field of indirect taxes.
- Know-How : You have strong technical tax knowledge, including expertise in VAT - experience advising on VAT on gift cards and knowledge of Payment Services Regulations (PSD) is an advantage.
- Work Style : You bring excellent analytical skills as well as an independent and structured way of working and enjoy working together in a functional team.
- Language Skills: You can easily communicate in German and English in our intercultural environment and in any situation.
- Location : Your place of work is Martinsried near Munich or working from home in Germany.
