We are currently looking for a Strategic Account Manager C&I, EMEA to join in our team, anywhere in DACH region!
What can you expect?
The EMEA Strategic Account Manager, C&I Segment will manage the relationship with large, strategic Accounts (up to 5 for EMEA) for Vertiv in a long-term perspective, represent the company in front of the Account at CEO/CIO/CFO level.
Drive/Manage/Ensure and Develop the Sales and Profitability of the business with the Accounts towards defined short and long term targets through Distribution channels (contractors, consultants, country distributors, IT distribution) and/or through the country organizations.
Secure Vertiv is the Account’s preferred partner for the entire Product and Service portfolio of Vertiv; support peers in pursuing software projects in major account.
What will your average day look like?
- Responsible for the longer-term building and maintenance of relationships with the Accounts and the resulting Customer Satisfaction.
- Build a strong stakeholder network at customer and ensure that this network is regular updated with Vertiv news but also that these stakeholders input finds its way to Vertiv to ensure that customer needs are well understood.
- Constantly promotes Vertiv’s offering inside the Account.
- Continuously informs Account of new product developments that might be applicable in their business segment and investigates and identifies short and longer term solutions.
- Creates and leads business development plans over the short to medium term, involves other parts of VERTIV organization in the contacts with the Account.
- Manages negotiations with the Account centrally, actively participates, supports and coordinates country Sales Teams in local bids and negotiations until closure of an opportunity.
- Interprets internal/external business issues; makes changes to own and others’ work to meet these.
- Drives the Marketing and sales of VERTIV products, services and solutions together with the countries and other channels, by regular visits and meetings.
- Responsible to create, follow up and report the Account Strategy and Activity Plan.
- Responsible for Sales & Profitability level to the Account in EMEA and is therefore responsible for pricing and their consistency in the region.
- Actively coordinate the local VERTIV Sales resources in charge of the local Account.
- Actively participate in the construction and follow-up of marketing/activity plans toward the market segment.
- Contributes to the monitoring of the market, identify new business opportunities and propose and drive Action Plans. Maintain and develop relevant coordination toward the Account with all Vertiv LOBs.
In order to be successful in this role you will need to have:
- Excellent commercial experience to understand customer(s) and VERTIV business environment.
- Min. 5 years proven records in management of Sales Account in International environment.
- Excellent knowledge of market segment and industry in EMEA.
- Long experience in business negotiations
- Long experience in relationship building activities with customers.
- High ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship builder.
- Fluent in English.
