Work with the Head of Engineering, leading your team and collaborating with colleagues to improve and maintain the Visable platform
Provide strong leadership to a multi-disciplinary team in attaining its objectives and goals while fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learnings within your team and extend these practices across the entire organization
Offer constructive feedback to support your team's development, while promoting skill development and career growth

Have at least 5 years of hands-on engineering experience (frontend, backend, or fullstack) in languages like Ruby, JavaScript, Kotlin, or Java
Have at least 1 year of experience managing or leading engineering teams
Strive to excel both technically and as a people manager
Maintain high standards, focusing on quality, reliability, and availability
Make thoughtful trade-offs between short-term business needs and long-term technical quality
Have strong communication and social skills and the ability to work well within a team and with other stakeholders
Drive initiatives from identifying problems to deploying solutions
Have experience using relational databases (Postgres, MySQL) and non-relational databases (Redis, MongoDB)
Fluent in English
Nice to Have
Have expertise in AWS technologies
Have expertise in Infrastructure as Code
