Introduction
IBM Research & Development is one of the largest private-sector research institutions in the world. Its portfolio ranges from hardware, firmware and operating systems for mainframes and storage technologies to Cloud, AI, Data Analytics, Automation, the Internet of Things and Quantum Computing. This also includes the operational maintenance of the first IBM quantum computer in Europe called “System One” and the development of critical technology components for the IBM Z Mainframe and Power Systems.

Your Role and Responsibilities
You will contribute to the full lifecycle for new features beginning from the ideation and design process over taking responsibility for the implementation in both frontend and backend until it is rolled out to our beloved customers.
You should be open to learning new technologies and willing to get your hands dirty across the entire software stack. Last but not least, you love to work in an agile and fast-paced startup environment.

Your Tasks :

• Writing Efficient Code: write clean, efficient, and testable code based on feature specifications.
• Testing and Debugging: Test and debug applications, ensuring they are free from errors and function correctly.
• Validating Software Functionality and Security: Ensuring that applications meet the desired standards and requirements…
• Developing Documentation: Create detailed design documentation, to understand how to use and maintain the software

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Good knowledge in Java backend programming
• Able to communicate fluently in English
