Development Engineer m/f/d Firmware

Department R&D - Firmware

As a development engineer in the firmware department, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the product software (firmware) for actuator controls. The following tasks await you in detail:

• You will support the creation and optimization of firmware components in accordance with specifications
• You will be responsible for the creation, implementation and testing of functional and non-functional requirements for the firmware. This includes:
  • Creating object-oriented, reusable software structures in resource-limited systems
  • Hardware-oriented programming of distributed, embedded systems
  • Real-time capable programming of 32-bit microcontrollers (ARM Cortex-Mx) with RTOS
  • Fieldbus interfaces, such as Profibus, Modbus, Industrial Ethernet

What you need to bring:

• A successfully completed degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering or a comparable qualification
• Good knowledge of the development of embedded systems and model-based development methods
• Solid basic knowledge of agile methods, such as Scrum
• Structured and independent way of working
• Ability to work in a team and enjoy creative work
• Good knowledge of German and English
