This diverse role exposes you to the different facets in Allianz Direct’s Accounting and Tax function. You will contribute to managing the closing process and tax reporting for Allianz Direct. Within this responsibility you will be dealing with general accounting topics, analysis of numbers, coordination of our foreign branches and management of the tax reporting process with our external and Allianz internal tax counterparts. You will contribute by your doings to Allianz Direct’s monthly and quarterly financial closing in line with German Accounting principles, IFRS 17 as well as Solvency II.

Key responsibilities:
Support preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to HGB, IFRS and Solvency II for Allianz Direct Versicherungs-AG
Responsible for managing and coordinating the closing process with our foreign branches and local accountants; special focus here on the tax reporting and analysis of corporate income taxes and deferred taxes in IFRS and Solvency II
Contribute towards an efficient reporting process
Data quality assurance and analysis, and provide clarifications to management
Participate in projects and initiatives on demand
