Cost and Value Engineer (m/f/d)

Job description

• Focus on dedicated products/technology
• Perform a correlate cost analysis and costing of BOM positions
• Gap analysis
• Calculate options and alternatives
• Provide input for cost reduction measures and sourcing recommendations
• Identify and introduce cost estimation and calculation tools
• Hold bill of material ownership for assigned development project and coordinate cost out measures throughout the development process
• Monitor and calculate target- and component cost and lead cross-functional reviews to ensure progress and completion toward milestones
• Cooperate with global category managers for perpetual benchmarking on costs and competitive pricing

Your Qualifications:

• Degree in either/or:Mechanical/Electrical/Manufacturing/Project Engineering,Industrial Engineering,Engineering Economics
• Confident and experienced in working interdisciplinary
• Profound in working with figures,ability to analyze and illustrate results for decision-making
• Experience in the Wind industry is considered as an advantage
• Relevant experience in the fields of project management,new product introductions,supply chain,procurement engineering
• Organized and disciplined combined with analytical skills
• Assertive in achieving deadlines and securing deliverables
