Your Role
The Digital Content Platforms department is one of six strategic units within the Corporate IT division Digital Experience Platforms and is responsible for the implementation of central IT platforms for with the focus on digital media, marketing and language technologies for all ZEISS Segments and corporate functions worldwide. As IT-Application Specialist, you will be the technical owner with global responsibility for applications with focus on content and digital asset management (CMS/DAM)such as content creation and content management (CMS) applications. You will ensure the holistic process of optimal application operation, from the initialization and implementation as well as operation to the analysis of errors and faults, to their elimination, to the monitoring of the applications as well as the execution of functional tests.
Your Profile
You are responsible for analyzing user requirements in direct contact with our internal and external stakeholders and translate the functional requirements into technical solutions
You will be the global service owner of the respective applications and responsible for the application management and further development of our content management platform cluster
Close cooperation with the business product owners of the DAM/MAM/CMS Application and support them in the implementation of digitization projects
Ensuring the operation of the application(s) in accordance with the contract SLA and based business requirements of the application. • Advise the application and service providers on the proper use and configuration of our content management platforms according to ZEISS specifications
Provide Second and Third Level Support to all global ZEISS users and act as global technical contact person for all users of the application(s)
Elaboration, planning and execution of integration and UAT tests within the scope of the implementation of the above-mentioned technical solution
Degree in business informatics, computer science, or similar or completed vocational training in the IT field with further training as an IT professional and relevant professional experience
You already have working experience in application management and digitization projects
Experience in digital asset management, content management, brand management and content control and real-time content distribution
Good knowledge of SaaS and cloud solutions as well as REST API's
Solid knowledge of HTML and CSS - Secure communication and presentation skills - You have knowledge of service management processes according to ITIL
Negotiable knowledge of English and good knowledge of German
