Development engineer transmission application (m/f/d)
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Independent processing of application tasks in the area of driving behavior (shift quality and shif strategy) of dual clutch transmisions
- Consideration of various specifications such as fuel consumption, sportiness and comfort
- Administration of the transmision parameters to be applie with the help of database systems
- Carrying out driving tests for the design, validation and acceptance of the application
- Participation in worldwide trials
- Evaluation, documentation, presentation and representation of the results obtained
- Communication and coordination with customers and development partners worldwide
- Ongoing reporting to the project management
- Establishment of a personal network within AVL
We would like to hear from you in case:
- Completed technical university studies in the field of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or related disciplines
- Traveling to worldwide test and acceptance drives is required
- Basic knowledge of the structure of (DSG) gears is required
- Initial experience in the automotive sector, transmission application and drivability
- Knowledge of handling with Canape/Diagra/Creta desirable
- Enthusiasm for vehicle topics especially for longitudinal and lateral dynamics
- A high degree of independence, ability to work in a team, responsibility and quality awareness
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English and confident handling MS Office products
- Experience in project management is an advantage
- Driving license class BE
